💜💚💛 Mardi Gras Sips
Bananas Foster Jazz Latte
Bourbon Street is calling — smooth jazz playing, sugar caramelizing, and absolutely no rush to be anywhere else. This latte is warm, cozy, and layered with brûléed banana flavor that knows exactly what it’s doing.
If Bananas Foster had a soundtrack, this would be it. Mix one up, put on some jazz, and let Mardi Gras come to you.
Why You’ll Love It
- Warm, creamy, and full of caramelized banana flavor
- Sweet without being over-the-top
- Feels like a treat without being complicated
The Java Momma Twist
We’re using Bananas Foster Coffee because it already brings that brûléed banana magic — everything else just builds on it. If you want to lean in harder, the banana syrup is optional but fun.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp banana syrup, optional
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 oz oat milk, warmed
- 1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 6 oz brewed Bananas Foster coffee
- Brûléed banana, for garnish (optional)
- Colored sanding sugars, for garnish (optional)
Method
- In a lowball glass, add banana syrup (if using), cinnamon, and brown sugar.
- Pour hot brewed Bananas Foster coffee into the glass and stir until sugar dissolves.
- In a mason jar, combine oat milk and sweetened condensed milk. Froth to your liking.
- Pour frothed milk over the coffee.
- Finish with sanding sugars and a brûléed banana garnish if desired.
Jazz Tip: This one pairs best with low lights, good music, and nowhere you need to be.
