Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • ½ cup Strong Java Momma Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1 tsp Coffee Extract (or vanilla/almond extract)
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Finely Ground Java Momma Coffee, sifted
  • ¾ cup Chocolate Chips, Chunks, or Cookie Pieces

Directions

  1. Make the Base:
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, sifted ground coffee, and salt. Add cold brew and milk, and mix until sugar and salt dissolve.
  3. Add Cream & Flavor:
  4. Stir in heavy cream and coffee extract. Cover and chill in the fridge for 2–4 hours or overnight.
  5. Churn the Ice Cream (Ice Cream Maker Method):
  6. Pour chilled mixture into your ice cream maker’s frozen bowl. Churn until it reaches soft-serve texture, about 8 minutes.
  7. Add chocolate chips/chunks. Continue churning until thickened (15–20 minutes total).
  8. For firmer texture, freeze in an airtight container for 2 hours.
  9. No Ice Cream Maker?
  10. Pour mixture into a shallow freezer-safe container. Stir every 30 minutes for 2 hours until soft-serve texture is reached. Fold in chocolate chips before serving or storing.
  11. Serve:
  12. Remove from freezer about 15 minutes before scooping for best texture.
