About the Coffee

Every coffee in this duo comes from Java Momma's core lineup — the same beans roasted fresh to order in small batches using solar-powered air roasting. No sitting on a shelf, no guessing when it was roasted.

The caffeinated side covers the full range: light, medium, dark, and flavored. If you want something with a little chocolate or caramel in the cup, that's on the table. If you want your coffee to taste like coffee and nothing else, that's here too.

The decaf side is all Mountain Water Process — a chemical-free method that removes caffeine using pure mountain water and keeps the flavor intact. It's not a consolation prize. It's just coffee you can drink at 9 p.m. without staring at the ceiling until 2 a.m.

Black coffee: calories 0, sugar 0, guilt 0. Both coffees in this duo are straight coffee — no syrups, no additives, nothing added post-roast except flavor (on the flavored options). Flavored coffees use natural flavoring applied after roasting. No actual nut, fruit, or spice ingredients. No added sugar.

How to Brew

However you make coffee at home is the right way. Drip, French press, pour over, Moka pot — this coffee works with all of it. If you're grinding whole bean, grind to match your brew method (coarse for French press, medium for drip, fine for espresso-style).

For the decaf: brew it exactly the same way you brew the regular stuff. It doesn't need special handling. It's just coffee.

What sizes are the bags?

Not for the duo — this one's whole bean or ground only. K-Cup options are available on individual coffee pages.

Is Mountain Water Process decaf really different?
Yes. It uses pure mountain water (not chemical solvents) to remove the caffeine. The result is a decaf that actually tastes like the coffee it started as instead of a faint memory of it.
