Most Keurig® cups are filled with coffee that was roasted months ago and blended for consistency, not flavor. The convenience is real — the coffee is usually not. These single-serve cups are different: same freshly roasted, air roasted coffee we put in our bags, just packaged for your Keurig® brewer.

Single-Serve Coffee Questions, Answered

Are Java Momma single-serve cups compatible with Keurig® machines?

Yes — our single-serve cups are compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 machines. No adapters needed. If you have a Keurig® brewer, these work exactly like any other single-serve cup — just with significantly better coffee inside.

Why does coffee from single-serve cups taste worse than brewed coffee?

Usually two reasons: the coffee inside most commercial single-serve cups was roasted months before you brew it, and it's typically a lower-grade blend designed for consistency across millions of units rather than actual flavor. Fresh roasted cups close most of that gap. Air roasting closes the rest — a cleaner roast means less bitterness and a smoother cup even at the small single-serve brew size.

Do you have flavored single-serve cups?
