💜💚💛 Mardi Gras Sips

Chocolate Beignet Cold Brew Mocktail

This beauty of a beverage is creamy, chocolatey, and way too good for how easy it is. It’s the kind of drink that feels fancy enough to share… but honestly? You might not want to.

Made with cold brewed Beignet coffee, a little chocolate, a little spice, and a whole lot of “just one more sip.” Keep it alcohol-free or spike it with bourbon if the day earned it.

Liquid Dessert Mocktail or Cocktail Batch-Friendly

Why You’ll Love It

  • Creamy, chocolatey, and not overly sweet
  • Easy to make for one or a whole group
  • Plays very nicely with bourbon (if you want it to)

The Java Momma Twist

Cold brewed Beignet Coffee is the star here. It brings that New Orleans-inspired flavor that makes this drink feel special without needing anything complicated.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cold brewed Beignet coffee
  • 2 Tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 shot bourbon (3 Tbsp), optional

Method

  1. In a shaker or small blender, combine sugar, chocolate syrup, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and cold brewed coffee.
  2. Shake or blend for about 30 seconds, until sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. If desired, rim a glass with lemon juice and cinnamon sugar.
  4. Fill glass with ice and pour the shaken mixture over the top.
  5. Add bourbon if using and stir gently.
  6. Finish with a light dusting of cinnamon.

Make it a batch: Multiply everything by the number of servings you need, shake or stir in a pitcher, and let people add bourbon to their own glass if they want.
