Chocolate Cherry Cordials were always on my grandparents’ table growing up — in that beautiful, bright red box. Enjoying one or two felt like something special.

This cold brew feels like that same moment, just in drink form.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz strong brewed Sumatran Satin coffee
  • Ice (coffee cubes if desired)
  • 3 Tbsp cherry syrup
  • 4 oz milk of choice, frothed
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzle
  • Chocolate shavings, optional

How to make it

  1. Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of your tumbler.
  2. Fill with ice.
  3. Add cherry syrup.
  4. Pour in coffee and frothed milk.
  5. Top with chocolate shavings and stir gently.

This Cherry Cordial Cold Brew is a small nod to the treats we loved growing up — cozy, familiar, and quietly indulgent.

Ingredients

  • For the Drink:
  • Crushed ice
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • 1-2 tbsp. Cherry Syrup (see recipe below)
  • 6-8 oz. cold brewed Sumatran Satin Coffee
  • 2-4 oz. frothed milk of choice (Almond Milk recommended)
  • Chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine frozen cherries, sugar, and water over medium heat.
  2. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, reducing heat if the mixture starts to boil.
  3. Remove from heat and mash the cherries with a masher.
  4. Allow to cool, then strain through a fine mesh strainer into a container. Use a spoon to press as much liquid through as possible.
  5. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup inside a tall tumbler or glass.
  7. Fill the glass ¾ full with crushed ice.
  8. Add Cherry Syrup and cold brewed Sumatran Satin Coffee. Stir until combined.
  9. Froth almond milk (or milk of choice) and pour over the cold brew.
  10. Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.
  11. Sip, sip away & enjoy!
