The Strawberry Pretzel Cold Brew
It's been a three-graduation-party summer, and every single one of them had strawberry pretzel cheesecake salad on the dessert table. Sally couldn't stop thinking about it — so she turned it into a cold brew. Sweet strawberry syrup, Salty Pretzel Cold Brew, and a cream cheese cold foam that tastes exactly like the topping off that dish. Her her inspiration was to turn this into a drink!

What You'll Need
- 2–3 Tbsp Strawberry Syrup (recipe below)
- 6 oz Salty Pretzel Cold Brew, steeped and chilled
- Cream Cheese Cold Foam (recipe below)
- Crushed pretzels, for garnish (optional)

Directions
- Steep the Salty Pretzel Cold Brew pod in cold water — most of a day, or overnight in the fridge for the easiest timing. Chill before using.
- Fill a large glass with ice.
- Pour the strawberry syrup over the ice. (If using preserves instead of the fresh syrup below, warm 15 seconds in the microwave first — makes it pourable.)
- Add the cold brew.
- Top with cream cheese cold foam.
- Garnish with crushed pretzels, if using.

Cream Cheese Cold Foam
- 3 Tbsp heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp whipped cream cheese, softened
- 1½ Tbsp whole milk
- 1 Tbsp sugar OR 1 Tbsp Vanilla Simple Syrup
In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the heavy cream, milk, and sugar or simple syrup, stirring to combine. Froth with a hand frother until silky and pourable.

Strawberry Syrup
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped (frozen works too)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3-4 Tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
In a small pot, combine strawberries with both sugars and stir until the berries start to break down into a loose slurry. Add the water and bring to a gentle simmer over low heat. Cook 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries have fully broken down. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla bean paste. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, pressing down to get all the liquid out. Store in the fridge up to 1 week.
