Orange Creamsicle Coffee, Three Ways
There's something about orange and cream together that goes straight back to the ice cream truck rolling down the street. Sally's made a small collection of these over the years, and none of them ever made it onto the site on their own — so here they all are in one place. A shaken espresso, a soda float, and a frappe-style latte, all built around that same orange-and-vanilla-cream nostalgia. Pick your favorite or make all three.

Three drinks, one flavor family, zero ice cream truck required.
Orange Cream Shaken Espresso
This is the simplest of the three, and honestly the one to start with if you've never tried an orange-and-coffee combination before. Bright citrus, softened with sweet vanilla cream — no fancy syrups, no complicated steps, just combine and shake.

Built around Tanzanian Peaberry Medium Roast — naturally bright and sweet, which is exactly what you want standing up to orange juice and honey instead of getting steamrolled by it.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. orange juice
- 2 tsp honey
- A pinch of salt
- Ice
- Espresso brewed, or 4 oz. strong brewed Tanzanian Peaberry Medium Roast
- 2 oz. milk or sweet cream of choice
Directions
- Shake: Combine all ingredients in a mason jar. Cover and shake gently for 15–20 seconds — a soft froth will form when it's ready.
- Pour: Remove the lid and pour over ice, or just drink it straight from the jar it's already in.
- Repeat: Make another one. Trust us, you'll want it.
Dreamsicle Cold Brew Float
The sweet music of the ice cream truck rolling down the street in the summertime was what we all waited for. This one brings that back — and it's flexible. Orange, raspberry, cherry — they're all perfect in every way, so build it with whichever soda matches your favorite dreamsicle pop.

This one originally started life with our Orange Cream Cold Brew, which has since been retired. Stand Tall Cold Brew steps in perfectly here — it's our clean, unflavored original, which means the orange soda and sweet cream get all the room they need to be the star. Nothing about the drink really changed, just which bag you reach for.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Stand Tall Cold Brew
- 1 Tbsp vanilla simple syrup (optional)
- 4 oz. orange flavored soda (raspberry or cherry soda are great too!)
- 1–2 oz. sweet cream
- Crushed ice
Directions
- Build the base: Fill a short tumbler glass halfway with crushed ice. Pour the vanilla simple syrup and Stand Tall Cold Brew over the ice and stir.
- Add the soda: Slowly pour the orange soda (or raspberry or cherry) over the cold brew.
- Finish: Top with frothed sweet cream.
- Garnish: Add a creamsicle pop on the side if you're feeling extra about it.
Orange Creamsicle Cold Brew Latte
Creamsicles scream summer, and this one's built to be sipped poolside, wandering through the wildflowers, or flat out doing nothing in a hammock. There's no wrong way to fall in love with this drink.

This one leans on Orange Creamsicle Frappe Mix for the actual creamsicle flavor — it does the heavy lifting here, frothed right into the milk before it ever meets the coffee. Paired with Stand Tall Cold Brew for the base.
Ingredients
- 1/2 packet Orange Creamsicle Frappe Mix
- 4 oz. milk of choice
- Crushed ice
- 6 oz. Stand Tall Cold Brew
- 1 tsp honey or agave
Directions
- Froth: Add the frappe mix to the milk and froth to combine. Set aside.
- Build: Place crushed ice, honey, and Stand Tall Cold Brew into a large tumbler and stir.
- Top: Pour the orange creamsicle milk over the cold brew. Sip and enjoy the nostalgia of simple summers.
Three drinks, one flavor family, and every one of them tastes like summer used to before we were old enough to pay for our own ice cream. If you made the espresso shaken version for National Ice Cream Day, you already know it belongs here too — see it alongside three ice cream recipes here.
