With a spicy splash of root beer, a smooth pour of Stand Tall Cold Brew, and nostalgic scoops of butter pecan ice cream, this Nutty RBC Float is everything Dad didn’t know he needed while manning the grill. The licorice and vanilla notes in the root beer pair beautifully with the rich nutty ice cream, and that deep, robust cold brew brings it all together with a grown-up twist.

It’s a fun, fizzy float that’s part dessert, part iced coffee—and 100% Father’s Day approved.

Ingredients

½ cup Stand Tall Cold Brew
3 scoops butter pecan ice cream
4 oz. root beer
Whipped cream, optional

Directions

Scoop the Ice Cream:
In a tall, chilled tumbler or float glass, add 3 scoops of butter pecan ice cream.
Pour the Cold Brew:
Slowly pour ½ cup Stand Tall Cold Brew over the ice cream, filling the glass about halfway.
Add the Root Beer:
Top with 4 oz. root beer, pouring gently to avoid overflow.
Finish & Serve:

Our order arrived on time and everything was correct. The first problem was getting the bag open. There is a tear strip on the side of the bag but that does not open the bag, rather it reveals the plastic inner bag liner. The seam across the top of the bag does not open either, even if you try to persuade it with a knife. Eventually we just cut it wide open with scissors, and accepted that we will have to find alternate packaging in order to keep the product fresh.
Turns out, we won't need alternative packaging because we found the product to be bitter and offensive tasting. It is now in the trash pail.

Smooth delicious coffee. Flavors are imaginative and fun. I can get decaf or regular, beans, drip or single serve cups.
