You ever want tiramisu but also don’t want to commit to a 9x13 pan and a life decision?
These mini tiramisu stacks are the answer. Ladyfingers, real brewed coffee, whipped mascarpone, and a dusting of cocoa. No special occasion required. Just… Tuesday.
Why You’ll Love This
- No baking. We respect your time.
- Individual servings. Everyone gets their own. No awkward slicing.
- Coffee-forward flavor. It tastes like a dessert from a café, but you’re still in sweatpants.
The Java Momma Twist
We use freshly brewed coffee here because it actually matters. The coffee soaks into the ladyfingers and gives that classic tiramisu flavor without turning it soggy.
No special blend required. Brew what you love. Stronger is better.
Ingredients (Makes 12 Mini Stacks)
- 1 package ladyfingers (7 oz, about 24 cookies)
- 2–3 oz white chocolate, melted
- 8 oz mascarpone
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 7 oz heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- Cocoa powder, for garnish
Instructions
1) Prep the Ladyfingers
- Brew coffee and allow it to cool completely.
- Cut each ladyfinger in half on a diagonal.
- Dip the cut end into melted white chocolate and press two halves together to create a shape of your choice (hearts, circles, abstract chaos — your call).
- Place on parchment paper and allow chocolate to set.
2) Make the Mascarpone Filling
- In a bowl, beat mascarpone, confectioners sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream gently into mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
- Transfer to a piping bag (or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped).
3) Assemble
- Lightly drizzle cooled brewed coffee over half of the prepared ladyfinger bases.
- Pipe a layer of mascarpone filling on top.
- Add another coffee-dampened layer of ladyfingers.
- Pipe more mascarpone on top.
- Dust with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve (at least 1 hour for best texture).
Tips & Swaps (Because Life Happens)
- No mascarpone? Full-fat cream cheese works in a pinch.
- Want it richer? Add 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur to the brewed coffee.
- Less sweet? Reduce confectioners sugar slightly — it’ll still set beautifully.
- Make ahead: These are better after a few hours in the fridge.
Serve chilled. Eat slowly. Or don’t. We’re not monitoring.
