Why You’ll Love These Ribs:

  • Infused with Coffee Goodness: The sticky glaze features brewed Colombian Dark Coffee (or your favorite Java Momma roast) for a rich depth of flavor.

  • Custom Java Momma Rubs: Tangerine Hibiscus and Corn on the Cob Seasoning give these ribs a sweet, citrusy, smoky vibe that screams summer.

  • Perfectly Portable: Wrap these ribs in foil and grill them low and slow—no fancy smoker needed. They’re campsite, blackout, and backyard-approved.

Tips for Rib Perfection:

  • Foil is your friend: Wrapping ribs helps them stay moist while tenderizing slowly on the grill.

  • Fork-tender is the goal: Adjust cooking time slightly based on the size of your ribs—smaller cuts may be done sooner, meatier racks may need a bit longer.

  • Don’t skip the sauce!: That sweet, citrusy coffee glaze turns these ribs into something seriously crave-worthy.

Ingredients

  • Ribs:
  • 3 pounds baby back ribs
  • Dry Rub:
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Tangerine Hibiscus Rub
  • 1 Tbsp Corn on the Cob Seasoning
  • Sticky Coffee Glaze:
  • ½ cup brewed Colombian Dark Coffee (or any Java Momma variety)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Fan Freaking-Tastic Fry Seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Juice of 1 orange

Directions

  1. Prepare the Dry Rub:
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, Tangerine Hibiscus Rub, and Corn on the Cob Seasoning. Rub generously over both sides of the ribs. Wrap ribs tightly in foil and set aside.
  3. Grill the Ribs:
  4. Heat your grill to medium-low. Place foil-wrapped ribs on the grill with the lid closed. Cook for 1 hour, turning packets occasionally for even cooking. Avoid piercing the foil. Adjust time slightly based on rib size.
  5. Make the Glaze:
  6. During the last 30 minutes of cook time, add all glaze ingredients to a mason jar and shake to combine. Pour into a saucepan and heat over coals or grill burner until slightly thickened.
  7. Finish & Serve:
  8. When ribs reach 165°F internally, carefully open foil and baste ribs generously with glaze. Rewrap and grill for 5 more minutes. Remove from heat, rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
