Ginger Spiced Black Tea

Bold, bubbly, and refreshing. This ginger spiced black tea with lime and ginger beer is what you make when plain iced tea feels boring.

Ginger Spiced Black Tea

This is what we make when we want tea to feel like a drink.

Bold black tea, spicy ginger beer, fresh lime — it’s refreshing, a little dramatic, and very satisfying. The kind of thing you pour into a tall glass and immediately feel like you made a good choice.

It’s cold, crisp, and perfect for afternoons that need something a little more interesting than plain iced tea.

  • Lime wedge, for garnish (optional)

Method

  1. Fill a tall glass with crushed ice.
  2. Add ginger beer and fresh lime juice. Stir gently.
  3. Slowly pour the chilled tea over the back of a spoon so it floats on top.

  5. Garnish with a lime wedge if you’d like and serve icy cold.

Notes & Swaps

  • If you like more spice, choose a stronger ginger beer.
  • This works well with other bold black teas too.
  • Skip the float and stir everything together if you’re not feeling fancy.
