🫐 Liquid Dessert Vibe

Blueberry Crumble Iced Latte

It’s 3 PM, your brain is buffering, and you need something that tastes like a bakery had a good idea. This one’s sweet, cozy, and layered enough to look like effort.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Layered and cute, but still “I made this in 5 minutes” energy.
  • Jammy blueberry + cinnamon sugar = instant cozy.
  • Works with espresso or strong brewed coffee. No gatekeeping.

Java Momma Twist: We’re using Blueberry Crumble because life is too short for boring coffee. Let the syrup give you that soft blueberry tint at the bottom, and keep the top layer coffee-brown like a responsible adult.

What You’ll Need

For the Drink

  • Crushed ice
  • 2 Tbsp Blueberry Crumble Syrup*
  • 2 oz espresso brewed or 4 oz strong brewed Blueberry Crumble coffee
  • 5 oz milk of choice
  • 1–2 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ Tbsp brown sugar
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon

Blueberry Crumble Syrup*

  • 6 oz fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ tsp vanilla

How To Make It

  1. Cinnamon sugar: Mix brown sugar + cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Build the base: Fill a tall glass with crushed ice and pour in the Blueberry Crumble Syrup. Let it hang out at the bottom and look pretty.
  3. Froth: Combine milk + sweetened condensed milk and froth to your desired fluff level.
  4. Pour: Add the frothed milk over the ice.
  5. Layer: Slowly pour espresso or strong brewed coffee over the top for those café-style layers.
  6. Finish: Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top. Stir slightly if you want, or leave it layered for the drama.

Little tip: Pour the coffee slowly down the center (or over the back of a spoon) for cleaner layers. If it gets messy? Congrats, you made it correctly.

Blueberry Crumble Syrup (Quick + Easy)

  1. Add blueberries, water, sugars, and cinnamon stick to a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a low boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 5–7 minutes, gently mashing the berries.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, then strain.
  5. Cool completely before using. Refrigerate up to 1 week.

*If you don’t want to do the syrup thing today, a store-bought blueberry syrup works too. No one is grading you.

Swaps & Permission Slips

  • Dairy-free: Use oat/almond/coconut milk + sweetened coconut condensed milk.
  • Lower sugar: Start with 1 Tbsp condensed milk and let the syrup do the work. You can always add more.
  • No frother: Shake milk + condensed milk in a jar with a lid for 20–30 seconds. It’s not fancy, it’s effective.
  • More blueberry color: Don’t strain the syrup super aggressively, or add 1–2 smashed berries to the glass before ice (rustic, not weird).

Cozy reminder: It doesn’t need to look perfect. It just needs to taste like your day got slightly better.
