Enjoy this classic malted shake with a caffeinated twist!
Ingredients
- Chocolate Coffee Syrup:
- 1 cup Death By Chocolate Coffee , brewed
- 1 cup dutch processed cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon California Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the Chocolate Lovers Malt:
- 1/2 cup Death By Chocolate Coffee , brewed
- 2 TBSP Chocolate Coffee Syrup, plus more for drizzling
- 4 scoops of Oreo Cookie Ice Cream
- 2 tablespoons malted milk powder

Instructions
- To make the Chocolate Coffee Syrup:
- Combine your brewed Death By Chocolate Coffee and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer to dissolve sugar, and then whisk in the cocoa powder and salt. Continue whisking until smooth and slightly thickened. This should take less than 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla. Chill completely before using.
- To Make Your Caffeinated Black & White:
- To make sure your malt stays nice and chilled, use tumblers that you have placed in the freezer. Combine coffee, chocolate coffee syrup, ice cream and malt powder in a blender. Blend until smooth. Take your tumblers out of the freezer and place 2 Tbsp Chocolate Coffee Syrup in the bottom of the tumblers. Pour some milkshake into the glass, about 1/2 way up and then drizzle some of the chocolate coffee syrup inside the remainder of the tumbler. Add the remainder of the milkshake and drizzle a swirl of the syrup on top. Grab that straw and slurp in down!
