Product description

Grandma's Cider. Minus the Stockpot.

Sweet apple, a good hit of warm spice, and that slightly tart edge that makes it taste like actual cider and not apple-flavored sugar water. Stir it into hot water and you get the nostalgic kitchen-smells-amazing experience without simmering anything for three hours.

  • Tastes Like: Sweet baked apple, cinnamon-forward spice and a little tang on the finish. The cider your grandmother made when the first cold snap hit.
  • The Win: Homemade-cider flavor in about 30 seconds. No apples to chop, no pot to scrub, no simmering.
How to Make

Hot (the classic): Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of mix to 6 ounces of hot water and stir until dissolved. That's the whole recipe. Like it stronger? Add a little more mix. Like it milder? Add a little less. It's your mug.

Iced: Dissolve the mix in hot water first, give it a minute to cool, then pour over a glass of ice.

Stir. Sip. Ignore the group chat.

FAQ

Do I need a machine?
Nope. A mug, a spoon and hot water are the entire equipment list. If you own a kettle, you're overqualified.

Water or milk?
Water. This one is made with hot water, and it's designed that way. Milk and apple cider is an experiment nobody asked for.

Does it have caffeine?
No. There's no coffee or tea in this one. It's apple, sugar and spices.

How many servings are in a bag?
An 8 oz bag makes 6–8 servings at 1 1/2 tablespoons per 6 ounces of hot water. Pour a heavier scoop and you'll land at the lower end.

Can I make this iced?
Yes. Dissolve the mix in hot water first, let it cool for a minute, then pour it over ice. It's primarily a hot cider, but it holds up on ice.

Can I make a big batch for a crowd?
Yes. Keep the same ratio: 1 1/2 tablespoons of mix for every 6 ounces of hot water. For four mugs, that's 6 tablespoons of mix in 24 ounces of hot water.
