Quick Ritual

Honey Cinnamon Cortado

Bold espresso + warm milk + a little honey. Simple. Strong. Job done.

Some mornings don’t need a 20-ounce sugar situation.

They need something small. Strong. Balanced. The cortado was born in the Spanish Basque Country to cut espresso with just enough steamed milk to smooth it out β€” not bury it.

We’re adding honey and cinnamon because we’re adults and we get to make decisions like that.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Ready in under 5 minutes.
  • Balanced β€” not too milky, not too sharp.
  • Feels fancy. Requires zero fancy behavior.

The Java Momma Twist

We brew this with All Jacked Up because if we’re making a cortado, it might as well show up strong. The honey smooths it. The cinnamon warms it. The espresso still runs the show.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz espresso brewed All Jacked Up
  • 2 oz milk, steamed
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Pinch cinnamon

Method

  1. Add honey and cinnamon to a small 4–5 oz mug.
  2. Brew 2 oz espresso and pour over the honey mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Steam milk. Do not over-froth β€” you want microbubbles, not foam mountain.
  4. Pour steamed milk into espresso.
  5. Dust lightly with cinnamon and enjoy immediately.
Permission slip: If you drink it standing at the counter in silence, that still counts as self-care.
