Cupid’s Float - A berries & cream cold brew seltzer

Some drinks are made for slow mornings. This one? It’s for the moments you want a little sparkle.

Think: a cozy afternoon, a playlist you didn’t overthink, and something pink-ish and fizzy in your favorite glass. Cupid’s Float is what happens when cold brew decides to flirt back.

It’s berry-kissed, lightly sweet, and finished with a soft cloud of coconut cream. Nothing fussy. Just fun.

Why we keep making this

  • Not too sweet, not too serious
  • Bubbly enough to feel special
  • Easy to tweak based on what you’ve got
  • Feels like a treat without committing to dessert
Recipe Overview

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup fresh berries
  • 2 Tbsp honey or brown sugar simple syrup, divided
  • 6 oz Blushing Berries cold brew, chilled
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • ¼ cup fruit-flavored sparkling seltzer (or cherry soda)
  • ¼ cup coconut cream (or a scoop of coconut ice cream)
  • Fresh blackberries or raspberries, optional garnish

Method

  1. In a tall tumbler (12–14 oz), muddle the berries with 1 Tbsp of the syrup.
  2. Pour in the cold brew and stir gently to combine.
  3. Add crushed ice.
  4. Top with sparkling seltzer for that light, fizzy finish.
  5. Froth coconut cream with the remaining 1 Tbsp syrup and pour over the top.
  6. Garnish with fresh berries if you feel like it. Sip immediately.

Notes & easy swaps

  • If you want it sweeter, cherry soda leans more “float.”
  • Frozen berries work in a pinch—just muddle gently.
  • No frother? A quick shake in a jar works just fine.

If you have Blushing Berries on hand, this is one of those drinks it fits into without overthinking it.
