The lounge chair you didn't get to, brought to the kitchen counter instead.
The pool either wasn't yours, wasn't open enough, or wasn't happening this year — kids' schedules, work, the usual suspects. Doesn't really matter which. You still get the version of summer where the only real decision is whether to get up for a snack.
Poolside Praline pours like the good snack mix, reworked into a coffee — toasted almond, browned butter hazelnut, and macadamia, with a whisper of vanilla holding it together. Those notes come from flavoring added after roasting, so the roast itself stays exactly what it is; the praline just rides along on top.
- Toasted almond, browned butter hazelnut, and macadamia with a whisper of vanilla — flavoring added after roasting, never part of the roast itself
- Available in whole bean, ground, 12-count single-serve pods (Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 compatible), and decaf via Mountain Water Process
- 100% Arabica, air-roasted to order using solar power
- Zero sugar, zero sweeteners, no added carbohydrates — naturally keto-friendly
- No gluten added — not a dedicated gluten-free facility
- Part of the August Picks limited release — when they're gone, they're gone, no dramatic countdown
The Beans
Poolside Praline is built on our 100% Arabica, Brazilian-base coffee, air-roasted to order rather than drum-roasted. A medium roast keeps the base smooth enough that the nut notes lead instead of competing with it. Toasted almond, browned butter hazelnut, macadamia, and vanilla come from flavoring applied after roasting — the roast profile itself doesn't change. Available in whole bean, ground, 12-count single-serve pods compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 machines, and decaf via Mountain Water Process. Poolside Praline is part of the August Picks lineup, a limited release built around getting the parts of summer you missed without leaving the house.
Nutritional Info
Black coffee is essentially zero-calorie — what you add from there is your call. The flavoring in Poolside Praline contains no sugar and no sweeteners. No added carbohydrates, naturally keto-friendly as a factual spec. No gluten added — this is not a dedicated gluten-free facility, so cross-contact is possible.
How to Brew
Poolside Praline works with whatever setup you've already got. Drip: standard grind, 2 tbsp per 6 oz water. Pour-over: medium grind, same ratio, slower pour to let the nut notes settle in. French press: coarse grind, 4-minute steep. Cold brew: coarse grind, 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio, steeped 12–18 hours in the fridge — arguably the more honest way to drink a coffee named after a pool.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Poolside Praline Coffee
Is this coffee easy on the stomach?
It tends to be, and there are a few reasons for that. We air-roast all of our coffee — unlike drum roasting, air roasting circulates heat evenly around the bean rather than scorching it against a hot surface, which generally produces a smoother, gentler cup. We also use a Brazilian bean base, and Brazilian beans are naturally lower in acidity thanks to the growing altitude and processing methods used there. Add a medium roast to the mix — longer roast time means less of the compounds that can irritate a sensitive stomach — and you've got a cup that tends to sit a lot easier than most. No guarantees, because everyone's different, but if coffee and your stomach have had a complicated relationship, this is a reasonable place to start.
Is this coffee keto-friendly?
Yes — black coffee has zero sugar, zero sweeteners, and no added carbohydrates. The flavoring in Poolside Praline adds no sugar either. Naturally keto-friendly as a factual spec, not a lifestyle claim.
Does it taste sweet without adding sugar?
Yes — the flavoring gives it a toasted almond, hazelnut, and macadamia character that reads as sweet without any added sugar or sweetener. Brew strength and what you add will shift how pronounced that is, but black out of the pot is genuinely good.
Do you offer a decaf version?
Yes — Poolside Praline is available in decaf. Same flavor, same air-roasted process, without the caffeine. Our decaf uses the Mountain Water Process, which skips the harsh chemical solvents. Your 3pm cup just got a lot more reasonable.
What's the difference between the bag and the single-serve pods?
Same coffee, different format. The bag gives you flexibility on grind and brew method. The single-serve pods come in 12-count boxes compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 machines — grab-and-go with no measuring required.
Is this actually a limited release?
Yes. August Picks coffees are seasonal. When they're gone, they're gone. No dramatic countdown, just an honest heads-up.
What other coffees pair well with this one?
If you're into flavored coffees that lean sweet and nutty, our other dessert-inspired roasts are worth a look. Our snack line is also a natural companion if you want something to go with your cup.
