Product description

Lemon Poppyseed Biscotti

Not your grandma's hard biscotti. Your coffee will approve.

You know the biscotti that doubles as a doorstop and gets one dunk before it threatens a molar? This is the opposite. Northwest Biscotti bakes a softer bite that still holds up to a hot mug, so you can dunk it, sip, and carry on with your afternoon.

This one is lemon-flavored, studded with white chocolate chips and poppyseeds, and made by a small bakery in Washington State. It's the kind of thing you eat standing at the counter while the laundry waits.

  • Soft-bite, handcrafted biscotti made for dunking
  • Lemon flavor with white chocolate chips and poppyseeds
  • Baked by Northwest Biscotti, a small bakery in Marysville, WA
  • Individually wrapped, so it's easy to toss in a bag or desk drawer
  • Pairs with coffee, tea, or nothing at all

The Story

Northwest Biscotti started in 2004 in Frances Turner's kitchen. She loved baking, kept experimenting with cookie recipes, and ended up with her own twist on her favorite Italian treat.

The goal has stayed the same: flavor, texture, and dunk-ability, not the bland, hard, industrial kind. The bakery's retail shop is in Marysville, Washington.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Lemon Poppyseed Biscotti

Is this biscotti hard like the traditional kind?

No. Northwest Biscotti makes a soft-bite style, so it's easier to eat than the classic rock-hard version. It still holds up to a dunk in hot coffee or tea.

What does Lemon Poppyseed Biscotti taste like?

Lemon is the lead flavor, with sweet white chocolate chips and the light crunch of poppyseeds. Think lemon poppyseed muffin, but built for dunking.

What allergens are in this biscotti?

It contains wheat, milk, eggs, and soy. It's made in a facility that also uses peanuts, almonds, coconut, and walnuts, so it's not suitable for anyone avoiding those.

What coffee goes well with lemon biscotti?

A smooth, medium roast is a safe place to start. Our other medium-roast coffees are worth a look, and our snack line has more things to keep next to the mug.
