Product description

Tart lemon, calm lavender, zero pretension.

Lavenderade is a tart, citrusy herbal blend built for whichever cup you actually have time for — hot in a mug between emails, or poured over ice when it's too warm to care. Lemon grass and orange peel do most of the talking, with rose hips bringing the tang and lavender rounding off the sharp edges so it doesn't taste like sucking on a lemon.

No tea base means no caffeine, so it's fair game any hour — morning, midday, or the one cup you sneak in after everyone else is finally asleep.

You don't need any special equipment for this one. A mug and a strainer (or an infuser, if you've got one lying around) gets the job done. That's the whole setup.

Apple pieces, lemon grass, rose hips, lavender, orange peel, lemon peel, and blue cornflowers.

How to Brew

Use 2 teaspoons per 8 oz of water. Bring the water to a full rolling boil (212°F). Steep for 5–10 minutes — shorter for a lighter cup, longer if you want it strong enough to hold up over ice. Makes approximately 11–14 cups per 1 oz bag.

To make it iced, brew it hot as directed, then pour over ice. For a stronger iced version, use slightly less water than usual so it doesn't go flat once the ice melts.

Want to skip the kettle entirely? Add 2 teaspoons per 8 oz of cold water and let it sit in the fridge for 8–12 hours. Strain and pour over ice.

Storage Tips

Store in a cool, dry spot, away from direct heat and sunlight. Reseal the bag tightly after each use to keep the blend fresh. Keep it away from steam and moisture — near the stove isn't ideal.

FAQ

Is this tea caffeinated?
No — this is an herbal blend with no tea base, so it's naturally caffeine-free. Any time of day works.

Can I make this iced?
Yes. Brew hot as directed, then let it cool and pour over ice. For a stronger iced version, brew with slightly less water than usual so it doesn't go flat when the ice melts. It holds up well cold.

Does this tea taste sweet without adding sugar?
It has a naturally tart citrus and floral character that reads as bright without any added sugar or sweetener. How sweet it tastes depends on brew strength and what you add, but it's genuinely good on its own.

What's in this blend?
Lavenderade contains apple pieces, lemon grass, rose hips, lavender, orange peel, lemon peel, and blue cornflowers.

How many cups does one bag make?
One 1 oz bag makes approximately 11–14 cups, depending on how strong you like it and whether you re-steep. Use 1 teaspoon per cup for a lighter brew, 2 teaspoons for more body.

What other teas pair well with this one?
If you like bright and fruity blends, our other blended teas are worth exploring. And if you're a coffee drinker who's tea-curious, this is a solid place to start.
