Chai Baking Spice

A warm aroma of black pepper cloaked in cinnamon’s welcome-home smell. Gentle citrus and floral notes float around the perimeter of the peppery fragrance holding up the sweet heat of ginger, the bittersweet nuttiness of nutmeg, and the woodsy taste of cinnamon, spiked with clove. Green cardamom shows off its ability to deliver pepper and eucalyptus, and rose petals and mint give it invigorating top notes.

Our salt-free Chai Baking Spice Blend is a multipurpose super star. It can, of course, be used to create a chai drink, but try it in spice cookies or carrot cake. Canners can use this blend to make Chai Spiced peaches, plums, or apricots. Make a cherry compote, Chai Banana Muffins or Banana Chai yogurt smoothie. Ooooh, what about roasted butternut squash? Stir into rice, or toss over pork chops and pan-fry. For a crazy finish, make a chai simple syrup and dress up any drink!
