Product description

The coffee that doesn't need to explain itself.

Brazil Medium Roast is a single-origin coffee from the Cerrado region — the same high-plateau growing area that makes Brazilian beans worth talking about. Consistent climate, naturally lower acidity, a smooth body that doesn't ask anything difficult of you at 7am. Medium roast keeps the character of the bean intact: nutty, clean, balanced. Not trying to be interesting. Just actually good.

The kind of coffee that works every day without getting in the way.

  • Single-origin medium roast from the Cerrado region, Brazil
  • 100% Arabica, unflavored — nutty sweetness is the bean, not added flavoring
  • Naturally lower acidity — smooth, easy on the stomach
  • Air-roasted to order with 100% solar power
  • Available in whole bean, French press grind, auto drip grind, and K-Cups
  • K-Cups compatible with Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 — 12-count box
  • Zero sugar, zero sweeteners, no added carbohydrates — naturally keto-friendly
  • No gluten-containing ingredients
The Beans

Cerrado is a high-plateau growing region in Brazil — one of the country's most established coffee-growing areas. The climate there is consistent and the soil conditions tend to produce beans with a naturally smooth, balanced profile and lower acidity than higher-altitude origins. Medium roast is the right call for a bean like this: long enough to develop the nutty sweetness the region is known for, short enough to keep the body clean and the finish easy.

No added flavoring. Air-roasted to order with 100% solar power — even heat, no scorching, which is most of the reason this roast stays smooth where other medium roasts can go flat or sharp depending on the day.

Nutritional Info

Black coffee is essentially zero-calorie — what you add is your call. No added sugar, no sweeteners, no flavoring of any kind. No added carbohydrates, naturally keto-friendly. No gluten-containing ingredients.

How to Brew

Auto Drip: 1 to 2 tablespoons per 6 oz of water. Medium grind. This is the everyday workhorse brew method for this coffee — consistent, unfussy, always good.

French Press: 1 tablespoon per 4 oz of water, coarse grind. Steep 4 minutes, press slow. Full immersion suits the smooth body of this roast well.

Pour Over: Same ratio as drip. Steady, even pour. The clean finish of a Cerrado medium roast comes through particularly well with pour over.

Cold Brew: 1 cup coarsely ground coffee to 4 cups cold water. Steep 12–24 hours in the fridge, then strain. The natural nutty sweetness concentrates well cold — worth trying if you haven't.

K-Cups: Compatible with Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 machines. 12-count box. Same coffee, no measuring required.

Storage: Resealable bag — keep it sealed, store in a cool dry place away from direct light. Skip the fridge — moisture is not your coffee's friend. Airtight container after opening if you're not going through it quickly.

FAQ

Is this coffee easy on the stomach?
It tends to be, and there are a few reasons for that. We air-roast all of our coffee — unlike drum roasting, air roasting circulates heat evenly around the bean rather than scorching it against a hot surface, which generally produces a smoother, gentler cup. We also use Brazilian beans from the Cerrado region, which are naturally lower in acidity thanks to the growing altitude and processing methods used there. Add a medium roast to the mix — longer roast time means less of the compounds that can irritate a sensitive stomach — and you've got a cup that tends to sit a lot easier than most. No guarantees, because everyone's different, but if coffee and your stomach have had a complicated relationship, this is a reasonable place to start.

Does this coffee have any added flavoring?
No — Brazil Medium Roast is completely unflavored. The nutty sweetness is a natural characteristic of the Cerrado bean and the medium roast. What's in the bag is coffee, nothing else.

What makes the Cerrado region worth calling out?
It's one of Brazil's most established coffee-growing regions — high plateau, consistent climate, mineral-rich soil. The conditions there tend to produce beans with a naturally smooth, balanced profile and lower acidity than you'd get from higher-altitude origins. It's not a marketing detail; it's why the cup tastes the way it does.

Do you offer a decaf version?
Not for this one — Brazil Medium Roast is currently available in regular only. If decaf is a dealbreaker, our decaf lineup is worth a look.

What's the difference between the bag and the K-Cups?
Same coffee, different format. The bag gives you flexibility on grind and brew method. The K-Cups are 12-count boxes compatible with Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 machines — grab-and-go with no measuring required.

Is this coffee keto-friendly?
Yes — black coffee has zero sugar, zero sweeteners, and no added carbohydrates. No flavoring either. Naturally keto-friendly as a factual spec, not a lifestyle claim.

What other coffees pair well with this one?
If you like a smooth, unfussy cup, our other single-origin and medium roast options are worth exploring. Our snack line is always good company.
