Product description

Two Colombian coffees. No flavoring to decode.

The Give It to Me Straight Duo pairs two straight single-origin Colombian coffees — no flavoring to sort out, no occasion required, just two honest cups at a better price than buying them separately. August's pairing keeps it simple: Colombian Medium for the everyday cup that does exactly what it says, and Colombian Dark for when you want something bolder without any extra steps. Same bean, same country, two different roast personalities.

  • Two single-origin Colombian coffees — medium roast and dark roast, no flavoring added
  • 100% Arabica, air-roasted to order using solar power — both coffees
  • Zero sugar, zero sweeteners, no added carbohydrates — naturally keto-friendly
  • No gluten added — not a dedicated gluten-free facility
  • Each coffee available in whole bean, ground, or single-serve pods compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0
  • Better price than buying both separately

What's Inside

Colombian Medium
The everyday cup, no surprises.

A single-origin Colombian coffee at medium roast — bright without being sharp, with a caramel undertone and a clean, balanced body. This is the cup that doesn't ask anything of you. No flavoring, no decoding, just Colombian beans air-roasted to bring out what they already do well.

Roast: Medium. Origin: Colombia. 100% Arabica, no added flavoring. Air-roasted to order.

Colombian Dark
Same bean, more bite.

The same Colombian origin, taken further. A longer roast pulls out a deeper, bolder body with less acidity than the medium — this is the cup for when you want something with more presence, still without any flavoring added. Straightforward, just turned up.

Roast: Dark. Origin: Colombia. 100% Arabica, no added flavoring. Air-roasted to order.

The Story

Same bean, same country, two different roast levels — that's the whole idea behind this pairing. Colombian Medium covers the everyday cup. Colombian Dark covers the days that call for something bolder. Neither one requires flavoring, decoding, or a second thought. Order both, know exactly what you're getting, and skip the guesswork.

Nutritional Info

Black coffee is essentially zero-calorie — what you add is your call. Both coffees in this duo are unflavored: no sugar, no sweeteners, no added carbohydrates. Naturally keto-friendly as a factual product spec.

No gluten added — not a dedicated gluten-free facility.

How to Brew

Drip / auto-drip: 1–2 tablespoons per 6 oz water for either roast — this pairing is built for everyday drip brewing.

Pour-over: Medium grind, 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio by weight. 30-second bloom. Brew time 3–4 minutes. Brings out the brightness in Colombian Medium and the depth in Colombian Dark.

French press: Coarse grind, 1:12 ratio, 4-minute steep. Full immersion suits the Dark roast especially well.

Cold brew: Coarse grind, 1:8 ratio, 12–18 hour cold steep. Works with either roast if you want it over ice.

Single-serve pods: Compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 machines. 12-count box, available for both Colombian Medium and Colombian Dark.

If you're ordering ground, select your brew method at checkout and we'll dial in the grind for each coffee.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Give It to Me Straight Duo — August

Why these two coffees together?

Same origin, two roast levels. Colombian Medium is the everyday cup — bright, balanced, no flavoring to sort out. Colombian Dark is the same bean taken further, bolder and deeper with less acidity from the longer roast. Together they cover the full range of what you might want on a given day without introducing anything new to figure out.

Do you offer a subscription for this duo?

Not for this pairing — it's available as a one-time purchase only. Order it whenever you want it, no ongoing commitment required.

Can I choose my format for each coffee?

Yes — both Colombian Medium and Colombian Dark are available in whole bean, ground, or single-serve pods compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0. You can select the format for each coffee independently.

Are these coffees available individually?

Yes — both Colombian Medium and Colombian Dark are part of the core lineup and available as standalone purchases. The duo is the better price point if you want both.

What's the difference between Colombian Medium and Colombian Dark?

Same Colombian beans, different roast time. The Medium is brighter and more balanced with a caramel undertone. The Dark goes further — a longer roast pulls out a deeper, bolder body and reduces acidity. Neither one has any flavoring added; the difference is entirely in the roast.

Are these coffees easy on the stomach?

Generally yes, and it comes down to how they're made. Both are air-roasted, which circulates heat evenly around the bean rather than scorching it against a hot surface — that tends to produce a smoother, gentler cup than drum roasting regardless of roast level. Colombian Dark, being the longer roast of the two, tends to be the easier of the pair on a sensitive stomach. No guarantees, since everyone's different, but both are a reasonable place to start.

Is this coffee keto-friendly?

Yes — black coffee has zero sugar, zero sweeteners, and no added carbohydrates. Neither Colombian Medium nor Colombian Dark has any flavoring added, so there's nothing to introduce sugar either way. Naturally keto-friendly as a factual spec, not a lifestyle claim.

What's the difference between the bag and the single-serve pods?

Same coffee, different format. The bag gives you flexibility on grind and brew method. The single-serve pods are 12-count boxes compatible with Keurig® 1.0 and 2.0 machines — grab-and-go with no measuring required.
