Jingle Bell Java starts as a medium roast, air-roasted to order rather than drum-roasted — heat circulates evenly around the bean instead of scorching it against a hot surface, which keeps the profile smooth and balanced. The vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, and rum flavoring notes are added post-roast using custom flavoring, then the beans are ground specifically for cold brew pods. This is the same flavor behind our most popular holiday release, reworked into a format built for iced coffee season.

How to Brew
Place one Jingle Bell Java cold brew pod in a pitcher and cover with cold, filtered water. Refrigerate for 12–24 hours — longer steep time means a bolder concentrate. Remove the pod, then dilute the concentrate with water, milk, or a milk alternative to taste over ice. Store any extra concentrate in the fridge and use within a week.

We air-roast all of our coffee — air roasting circulates heat evenly around the bean rather than scorching it against a hot surface, which generally produces a smoother, gentler cup. We also use a Brazilian bean base, naturally lower in acidity thanks to the growing altitude and processing methods used there. Cold steeping adds another layer on top of that — the cold brew process itself tends to produce a less acidic cup than hot brewing. No guarantees, because everyone's different, but if coffee and your stomach have had a complicated relationship, this is a reasonable place to start.
Does it taste sweet without adding sugar?
Yes — the flavoring gives it a vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, and rum character that reads as sweet and festive without any added sugar or sweetener. Brew strength and what you add will shift how pronounced that is, but it holds up well straight over ice, too.
