Product description

It tastes like cream. It looks like black tea. That's the whole trick.

Iced Dreams starts with Ceylon black tea — full-bodied, slightly malty, the kind of base that holds up in cold water without going flat or bitter. The natural cream flavor comes through in the taste, not the color. Pour it over ice and it's deep amber-brown, same as any good black tea cold brew. Add actual milk or cream and it becomes something else entirely — smoother, rounder, closer to a cold latte than an iced tea. Both versions are the point.

One pod, one quart of cold water, overnight in the fridge. Pull it in the morning and pour it over ice. No strainer, no kettle, no timing anxiety. It's caffeinated — Ceylon black tea base — so it earns its place in the morning rotation. Drink it straight or add whatever dairy or non-dairy you have on hand. Either way it delivers.

Four pods per pack. Each one brews a full quart.

Flavor Notes

The front is straight black tea — Ceylon, so it's full-bodied and slightly malty without the astringency you get from a rushed hot steep. Cold brewing keeps it smooth.

The cream flavor comes in on the middle and finish. It's not sweet, not artificially flavored in any obvious way — it reads as a natural richness that softens the tea's edge. If you're expecting a pale, milky color: it pours deep amber-brown. The cream is in the taste, not the look.

Add milk or cream and the whole cup shifts — rounder, fuller, more latte-adjacent. Whole milk, oat milk, a splash of half-and-half — all work. None of it is required. Straight over ice is a complete drink.

Steeping Cheat Sheet

Cold Brew (recommended)
Drop one pod into one quart of cold water. Into the fridge overnight — or at least 6–12 hours. Pull the pod, pour over ice. No strainer, no infuser, no gear. A mason jar or pitcher is all you need. Add milk or cream after pouring if you want it.

Hot Steep
Drop one pod into one quart of just-boiled water (212°F). Steep 4–5 minutes. Remove pod. The hot steep pulls a bolder, slightly more tannic cup — good if you want a stronger tea base for a hot latte. Add milk and steep at the longer end of the range so the flavor doesn't wash out.

Hot vs. Iced

Cold brew: Deep amber-brown, smooth, naturally rounded by the cream flavor. Malty and full without bitterness. The cream note comes through clearly. This is the version the format was built for.
Hot steep: Bolder, slightly more tannic, the cream flavor still present but more tea-forward. A good base if you're making a hot latte — add milk and go longer on the steep time.

Both versions work with milk. Neither requires it.

FAQ

Is this tea caffeinated?
Yes — Iced Dreams uses a black tea base, so it has a moderate to high amount of caffeine. Solid morning or afternoon territory.

How do I make cold brew with this?
Drop one pouch into one quart of cold water. Into the fridge overnight — or at least 6–12 hours. Pull the pouch, pour over ice, done. No strainer, no infuser, no gear required. A pitcher or mason jar is all you need.

How long does cold brew keep in the fridge?
3–4 days in a sealed container. Keep it covered and cold between pours.

Does this taste like a cream tea or a black tea?
Both, depending on what you add. Straight cold brew it pours deep amber-brown and tastes like a smooth black tea with a natural cream note on the finish — no milk required for the flavor to come through. Add actual milk or cream and it shifts toward something closer to a cold latte. Either version is intentional.

Can I add milk to this?
Yes — Iced Dreams holds up well with milk. Whole milk, oat milk, half-and-half, coconut milk — all work. If you're adding milk, the cold brew version is already smooth enough that you don't need to steep longer. Just pour and add.

What other teas pair well with this one?
If you like easy, no-fuss iced tea that actually tastes like something, our other cold brew pods are worth a look. Our loose leaf teas are there when you want more control over the brew.
