Product description

Four pods. Four quarts. Zero reasons to leave the house.

Drop a pod in cold water before bed. Wake up to something that looks like it came from a lagoon — deep indigo straight from the fridge, shifting purple the second you squeeze in citrus — with a flavor that's equal parts mango, lychee, and something you'll swear you've tasted before. You have. It's the ghost of your favorite childhood cereal, showing up in iced tea form. Which is objectively better.

No caffeine. No strainer. No effort. One pod makes a full quart, so four pods gets you a solid week of iced tea without thinking about it again. Pour it straight over ice for that deep blue, squeeze a lime in and watch it bloom purple, or top it with sparkling water. All three are correct answers.

Each bag comes with four pods. Fridge does the rest.

Flavor Notes

Front: mango and lychee — both present, both doing something, neither one shouting over the other. Together they land somewhere familiar: bright, sweet, and fruity in a way that'll remind you of a bowl of cereal you haven't thought about in twenty years.
Middle: a soft floral layer from butterfly pea flower and marigold that smooths the fruit out without going perfume-y.
Finish: clean and light. Lemongrass lifts the back end so the whole thing stays refreshing rather than sitting heavy.

Color straight from the fridge: deep indigo to periwinkle. Add citrus — lime or lemon — and it blooms purple. That's not a trick — it's just how butterfly pea flower reacts to acid. Try it once and you'll do it every time.

The Leaf

What's in the pod: lemongrass, butterfly pea flower, chamomile flowers, rose hips, natural mango flavor, mango pieces, marigold flowers, lychee flavor.
Caffeine level: caffeine-free — herbal blend, no tea base.
Format: cold brew pod.
Count: 4 pods per bag.
Yield: one pod makes one quart (32 oz) of finished cold brew tea.

Steeping Cheat Sheet

Cold brew (primary method):
Drop one pod into one quart of cold water. Into the fridge overnight — or at least 6–8 hours. Pull the pod, pour over ice, done. A mason jar or pitcher is all the gear you need. No strainer, no infuser, nothing else.

Hot steep (secondary method):
Drop one pod into 32 oz of hot water (full rolling boil — 212°F). Steep 5–7 minutes. Pull the pod. Serve hot or let cool and pour over ice. The hot version comes out a touch more floral — chamomile and lemongrass come through a little more clearly.

Hot vs. Iced

Cold brew result: Smooth, bright, and fruit-forward. Deep indigo to periwinkle straight from the fridge — squeeze in citrus and it blooms purple. Best served over plenty of ice, straight or with a lime squeeze. This is the version the pod was built for.

Hot steep result: Warmer in character, slightly more floral. The lemongrass and chamomile lead rather than the fruit. A solid caffeine-free option if you want something hot at the end of the day.

Recommended serving: Cold brew over ice, squeeze of lime, watch it bloom purple. No sweetener needed — it reads sweet on its own.

FAQ

How do I make cold brew with this?
Drop one pouch into one quart of cold water. Into the fridge overnight — or at least 6–8 hours. Pull the pouch, pour over ice, done. No strainer, no infuser, no gear required. A pitcher or mason jar is all you need.

Is this tea caffeinated?
No — this is an herbal blend with no tea base, so it's naturally caffeine-free. Any time of day works.

Does this tea taste sweet without adding sugar?
It has a naturally fruity and bright character that reads as sweet without any added sugar or sweetener. How sweet it tastes depends on brew strength and what you add, but it's genuinely good on its own.

Why is it blue? Is that artificial coloring?
The blue comes from butterfly pea flower, which is naturally that color. It's used as a natural food coloring across Southeast Asia. Straight from the fridge it's a deep indigo to periwinkle. Add something acidic — a squeeze of lime or lemon — and it blooms purple. That's a real chemical reaction, not a filter.

How long does cold brew keep in the fridge?
3–4 days in a sealed container. Keep it covered and cold between pours.

What other teas pair well with this one?
If you like easy, no-fuss iced tea that actually tastes like something, our other cold brew pods are worth a look. Our loose leaf teas are there when you want more control over the brew.
