If you’ve ever browsed the Java Momma website, chuckled at a product description, or fallen in love with one of our blog posts, chances are you’ve met Tammy already—you just didn’t know it.

Tammy wears a lot of hats around here (some of them metaphorical, some of them probably wide-brimmed and fabulous). Officially, she’s our content conjurer, graphic wrangler, blog boss, and the quiet force behind the entire website. Unofficially? She’s the one who makes sure we still sound like humans and not a committee of robots hopped up on espresso.
Based in the beautiful, moody wilds of Tasmania, Australia, Tammy is a California expat who’s been with Java Momma since the beginning. She helped build the brand’s early social media presence before jumping fully on board in March 2020—and we haven’t let her go since. (Nor would we dare.)
She’s a homeschooling mama of five neurospicy kids (ages 11 to 28), a former café owner (shoutout to the legendary Goddess Garden), a low-carb foodie, and a decaf drinker who dares to live dangerously in a world of bold brews. She's also recently divorced, deeply sarcastic, and in her “don’t test me” era—though she’ll still make you a cup of coffee and ask how you’re really doing.
Tammy brings heart, humor, and a heap of life experience to everything she touches at Java Momma. She believes coffee is both a lifeline and a love language, and she's passionate about making space for all kinds of customers—especially those with dietary needs, complicated lives, and a taste for something a little different.
Stay tuned to the blog for more of her personal musings, caffeine-fueled ramblings, and maybe even some low-carb coffee drink recipes (because yes, flavor can be sugar-free and still delicious—ask her how she knows).
