White Chocolate Covered Strawberry Refresher

This white chocolate covered strawberry cold foam refresher is everything a chocolate-covered strawberry wants to be when it grows up — layered, gorgeous, and cold enough to make your afternoon actually worth taking.

The Case for Drinking Dessert at 2pm

  • Real brewed tea base — no sad powder packets, no artificial shortcuts
  • That cold foam situation on top is easier than it sounds, and you'll want to put it on everything
  • It looks like you ordered it somewhere expensive, and nobody needs to know you made it in your kitchen in pajamas

The Java Momma Twist: We use Strawberry Serendipity here because it cold-brews into something genuinely fruity and floral without tasting like a scratch-and-sniff sticker. One cold brew pod, overnight, and your tea base is done before you even think about it. That's the kind of prep we can get behind.

What You'll Need

For the Tea Refresher Base (make this first):

  • 10g Strawberry Serendipity (1 cold brew pod)
  • 1 cup white grape juice
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 cups water

For the White Chocolate Cold Foam:

  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate sauce

To Build the Drink:

  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 6 oz steeped Strawberry Serendipity Tea Refresher Base
  • 1 tsp strawberry syrup
  • 1 tsp white chocolate sauce
  • Crushed ice
  • White chocolate cold foam (from above)
  • Freeze-dried strawberries for garnish

How To Make It

  1. Steep the base. In a 4–6 cup pitcher, combine your Strawberry Serendipity cold brew pod, white grape juice, coconut water, and water. Park it in the fridge and let it steep for at least 6 hours — overnight is easier and better.
  2. Set up your glass. Drizzle 1 tsp each of strawberry syrup and white chocolate sauce around the inside walls of your serving glass. Add crushed ice until the glass is about ¾ full.
  3. Layer the drink. Pour the coconut milk over the ice first, then follow with 6 oz of your steeped Strawberry Serendipity Refresher Base. The layers will do something pretty in the glass — let them.
  4. Whip the foam. In a small jar, combine the heavy cream, milk, and white chocolate sauce. Use a handheld milk frother and go for about 30 seconds until it's thick, pillowy, and spoonable. Don't stop early.
  5. Finish and garnish. Gently spoon or pour the white chocolate cold foam over the top of the drink. Finish with a pinch of freeze-dried strawberries. Photograph it, or don't — it's going to taste the same either way.

Swaps & Permission Slips

  • No white grape juice? Apple juice works and keeps the sweetness in the right lane. Lemonade will push it tarter — not wrong, just different.
  • No heavy cream on hand? Use all milk plus a tablespoon of cream cheese blended in — it'll still foam up and taste rich enough to earn the name.
  • No handheld frother? A mason jar with a lid, shaken hard for 45–60 seconds, will get you there. Your arm will know about it, but the foam will be there.
  • Want it dairy-free? Full-fat oat milk or canned coconut cream in the foam both work. The texture is slightly softer but still absolutely lands.
  • No freeze-dried strawberries? A single fresh strawberry on the rim works fine. So does skipping the garnish entirely — we're adults, not caterers.

Whether it's a slow Saturday or a Wednesday that needs intervention, this white chocolate covered strawberry cold foam refresher is a solid argument for making your own instead of driving anywhere. You've got the stuff. You've got the time. Go make it.
