About Java Momma

The idea for Java Momma came about in September 2017. Melissa and Brian Shoop came up with the basic concept for Java Momma at their kitchen table one Friday night. The focus would be on relationships from the very start. A company built from the ground up to serve the needs of fellow direct sellers, with the focus on customer relationships. Java Momma cares about the community, providing leadership to our baristas, maintaining your trust, and product integrity.

Melissa Shoop

CEO & PRESIDENT

I am the Founder and President of Java Momma.  Before all this awesomeness, I was a major “kitnapper” in many direct sales companies, a consultant in a few that I ran as a business, and still a loyal shopper of many.  I am married to Brian and between us, we have eight kids, four grandkids and three dogs and two cats. We live in Danville PA with three of our kids and three of our grandkids! Life is such an adventure – so live every moment to it’s fullest. I am a firm believer in being positive every chance you get.

Copy Editor

Hi, all! I’m Erin and I’m the copy editor for Java Momma, AKA the grammar police. Basically, I proofread our publications and graphics before they go out, making sure the spelling and grammar are correct and that everything makes sense in general. I live in a tiny town in Southeastern Ohio with my husband, Stacy and cat-child, Zoe. When I’m not silently correcting your grammar, I’m also a self-taught photographer and have been blessed to be able to live out my dreams of owning and operating my own photography business.
